WHAT IS SSC CGL?
SSC CGL stands for "Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level," and it is India's most popular government employment test. Every year, over 30-40 lakh qualified students fill out the application form, and approximately 15-20 lakh hopefuls take the CGL test. The final applicants who are shortlisted and selected will work in the ministry and several government departments in India.
Every year, SSC CGL provides the finest opportunity for applicants to work in various job descriptions in Indian Government organizations. This year, officials have made significant modifications to the SSC CGL 2023 exam. Candidates will now be selected category-wise based on their performance in the Tier 1 test in order to advance to the next round of the SSC CGL recruitment process.

ELIGIBILITY
To appear on the final selection list, candidates must meet a number of requirements for SSC CGL 2023 eligibility, such as educational requirements, age restrictions, and physical standards. Consider whether the candidates meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Nationality: A candidate must be an Indian citizen with a valid ID, a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1962 with the intention of settling permanently there, or a person of Indian descent who came to India from one of the following countries: Pakistan, Burma, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam.
- Although the age varies from post to post, the SSC has raised the age restriction for SSC CGL 2023 recruitment. The top age restriction is restricted at 32 years, and the minimum age limit is defined at 18 years. This age restriction criterion varies from position to position and for various kinds of persons; more information is provided in the next section.

SSC CGL APPLICATION FEE STRUCTURE
Candidates must pay a minimal SSC CGL application cost based on their category in order to properly submit the application form. The charge for male applicants in the General and OBC categories is Rs. 100/-, while female candidates in the SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-servicemen categories are excused from paying the fee.
