EXAM PATTERN
SSC CHSL will be held in two stages Tier I and Tier II. The details of the following are as follows:

- The Tier-I Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only.
- The questions will be set in English and Hindi for Part-II, III & IV.
- There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

TIER II
- Tier II will be held on the same day in two sessions, Session I and Session II. Section-I, Section-II, and Module-I of Section-III will be conducted during Session-I. Module-II of Section-III will be conducted during Session-II.
- Candidates must pass all Tier II sections.
- Except for Module-II of Section-III, Tier-II will consist of Objective Type, Multiple Choice Questions. Except for Module-II (English Language and Comprehension module) in Section II, all questions will be set in English and Hindi.
- There will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II and Module-I of Section-III. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
- Module-I of Section-III i.e. Computer Knowledge Test is mandatory but qualifying in nature.

How to Pass SSC CHSL in the First Attempt?

1. Comprehensive English - Emphasis on vocabulary and idioms. Grammar rules can be learned using any book.
2. General Intelligence & Reasoning - Some of the important SSC CGL topics that candidates can study for this section of the exam include Number Series, Spatial Orientation, Arithmetic Non-Verbal Series, Problem-Solving, Judgment, Visual Memory, Coding and Decoding, and so on.
3. General Knowledge - Read newspapers or watch YouTube channels for current events. Keep a record of current events.
4. Quantitative Aptitude - In this section, time management is essential. Because the level of difficulty of the questions is low, use short tricks to solve problems.
